My junior and senior year I was the trumpet section leader in the Austin High Band. Also, my senior year I was band president. My freshman and sophomore year I was part of the AGS Family Pact Comittee, settling disputes between AGS and regular Austin High.

I competed for the first time in region band auditions Junior year and made the 3rd band out of all of the trumpet players in the central Texas area. I was in the top 30 players in the area.

I have participated in all of the UIL Solo and Ensemble events on the trumpet and have recieverd an outstanding grade (1) on almost all of them.
